2025 Fireside Chat with Denise Bossy

On January 30th, we will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Fireside Chat. In keeping with tradition, we will have an amazing historian as our guest.
Associate professor of history at the University of North Florida-Jacksonville, Denise Bossy, has accepted our invitation.
She is an expert on the Yamasee Indians, who lived from South Carolina to Florida. Her book, The Yamasee Indians from Florida to South Carolina, is a best seller.
The Yamasee had a stronghold in Beaufort/ Port Royal. The town of Yemassee takes its name from this important native american tribe.
This event is open to members and non-members.
